Since joining the Chicago Workforce Board (now CWIC) in 2001, Pedro has designed, supported and maintained CWIC’s information technology systems, providing technical assistance to all staff. As Operations Assistant, Pedro assists in procurement, payment processing, and other operations functions throughout the organization. He has served as the coordinator of the Workforce Board's Youth Council and manager of finance.

Pedro was previously the Coordinator of Education to Careers (ETC) for Chicago Public Schools.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Math and Spanish from the University of Illinois.
