As Chief Financial Officer, Sabrina provides financial accounting and reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, and related compliance requirement support to the Chicago Workforce Investment Council, its Board of Directors, its funders and other stakeholders.  Sabrina coordinates with programmatic and administrative staff to ensure CWIC operates with a sound internal control structure and financial transparency.  

While at CWIC, Sabrina has created the financial and internal control infrastructure for the organization to provide timely and accurate financial reporting to various stakeholders.

Sabrina is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois who has over 17 years experience in public accounting, including with two of the “Big Four” accounting firms both in Houston, Texas and Chicago, Illinois.  For the past fourteen years, Sabrina has focused her auditing, accounting, business consulting and taxation experiences to Not-for-profit, Governmental, and small to mid-size for-profit organizations.

Sabrina holds a Master of Arts in Social Administration from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Illinois at Chicago.
